Imagine this: you’re busy running a non-profit that advocates for youth and at-risk adults, and then you find yourself becoming a family of 4 to 7 overnight…

Brooke Wheeldon-Reece finds herself reflecting on her blessings despite her challenges… “I’ve been really fortunate this past year. I run a non-profit organization called The SPARK Initiative that mentors youth, sex trafficking survivors, and adults in the criminal justice system. We went from a family of four to seven – overnight – and have been living in a small townhouse ever since. “The biggest obstacle has also been my biggest blessing. Learning to be a family of seven with little notice was the most challenging thing I’ve ever gone through. Now, four years later, I cant imagine my life any other way. All of my kids have been my most influential teachers in my life.”
